Sarah Morrisson
About
Ms. Morrisson has years of experience handling hundreds of cases across multiple jurisdictions. She has seen how the justice system can treat the accused and will work with you at every step of the litigation process.
During law school, Ms. Morrisson was a certified law student at the Metropolitan Public Defenders Office. She gained valuable experience arguing motions and taking multiple cases to trial. Ms. Morrisson graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2016 and began her practice in New York. She began her practice at Legal Aid and assisted in certifying a Federal Class Action lawsuit against a local New York jail and school district for violations under the United States Constitution.
Ms. Morrisson spent the next 5 years working in public defense representing clients charged with driving offenses, assault, burglary, sexual assault, property crimes, and domestic violence offenses. Following a short stint practicing insurance defense for a law firm in Portland, Ms. Morrisson opened her own law firm, Morrisson Law.
Ms. Morrisson is licensed in Oregon and Washington. She lives in Portland with her partner and two dogs, Avery and Noodle. In her free time, she enjoys golf and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
